Dimity Magnus is an interdisciplinary artist based in Perth, Western Australia.

Designer and fabricator of installation art she has been commissioned by: Scitech, FringeWorld, Awesome Arts, Joondalup, Camp Doogs and Beaufort St amongst others. Team builds include The London Olympics Fibreglass Mascots Project and The Luwow.

Dimity is the director of Dr Sketchy’s Anti Art School Perth, an artist networking platform with quarterly events, Monkey Collective a performance and special effects based collective and Art For Reef a not for profit online gallery for the Great Barrier Reef. She is also the CEO of Arcadia Collective soon to be Artist run hub space and vocalist in band She Leaves the Mountain.

With a history in clothing design, installation art, sculpture, illustration and events management. Dimity enjoys combining skills and creating new experiences and worlds for the viewer.

In 2015, Arts Residencies in Spain and Iceland have revealed latest works delving into the concept of reality, life force and how our immediate surroundings shape our mind. Her practice is currently in research and development phase.
