Book Tower

Created for W.A Day and Awesome Arts Festivals 2012 & 2013.

The tower was built as an installation for the Festival activity
“Better Beginnings” run by the State Library of Western Australia.

The tower is approx. 4m by 2.5m and was made of wood, wire and expander foam. It was built with castors for easy movement and interlocking blocks for easy assemble and disassemble and storage.

The books were individually labeled as both new and old memorable children’s books. Including The Never Ending Story hiding amongst them.
